A new beta version of WhatsApp for Android that allows users to make some changes to the interface while creating text status updates is officially rolling out.
According to the American IM service, the small interface changes for text status updates are available to select Android beta testers who install the latest app updates. The new feature is marked as a compatible update, but some users may also receive the same feature in some previous updates.
WhatsApp leaked the information today when it rolled out a new update through Google Play’s beta program, bringing the version to 22.214.171.124.
Given the latest updates, the instant messaging service has moved the emoji, text, and background color picker to the top of the screen, making the section look the same as on iOS .
However, for users who have the new captions view, it will be available when updating the text status. As such, you can instantly change the audience for the current text status, but you’ll need to go to WhatsApp’s privacy settings to change who can get future status updates.
WhatsApp is a famous cross-platform text messaging application that allows users to send and receive messages and make phone calls using only an internet plan. The most used messenger on the planet has more than two billion active users per month.
WhatsApp is undoubtedly the best messaging app. Video and voice calls are two of the most important features of WhatsApp. This means that you will be able to call people in your contact list who are also using this app for free.
