TT Electronics to Showcase Advanced Passenger Interface and Lighting Technologies at Aircraft Interiors Expo

Woking, United Kingdom, June 7, 2022 – TT electronicsa global provider of engineering technologies for performance-critical applications, will showcase its design-driven interface, lighting and signaling solutions at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in booth 2E29 from May 14 to June 16 in Hamburg, Germany.

TT Electronics develops custom interfaces and lighting solutions that enhance the passenger experience; passenger control units (PCUs), cabin signage, seat identification, suite information panels, stowage and accent lighting will be featured at the show. With considerable expertise in thin-film backlighting, the company will also showcase its latest ambient lighting solutions – lightweight, seamless and energy-efficient alternatives to current competing offerings.

New for 2022 is TT’s stowage lighting solution, an innovative approach to enhancing the passenger experience through lighting. The storage light is lightweight, energy efficient and offers adjustable colors and intensity, illuminating the cabin storage areas and enhancing the overall cabin ambience.

“Airlines are focused on rolling out multi-colored interior lighting to improve passenger comfort and satisfaction. Design and ambience are key here, especially in first and business class cabins,” said Terry Moss, Sales Manager, TT Electronics. “At AIX, TT will showcase solutions that offer the perfect blend of form and function to meet the demands of the designer, manufacturer and, perhaps most importantly, the passenger.”

TT will also launch ECPs developed in partnership with Adient Aerospace, a growing leader in aircraft seating. This collaborative approach brings together best-in-class offerings to help aircraft – and airlines – differentiate themselves as passenger-focused, premium service offerings.

TT Electronics’ patented light guide system provides enclosure modules less than 10mm deep while maintaining high quality intensity and even light distribution without problematic hot spots. The lights are available in RGB-W aligned with airline brand guidelines and include functional features such as DND indicators.

TT Electronics’ interface and lighting solutions can be certified to meet all Airbus and Boeing In-Seat requirements.
