Simplified digital customs pricing thanks to the new Partsolutions interface
The cloud-based SaaS solution netwyk Zoll facilitates the individual and mass determination of customs tariff numbers according to current specifications. This tool is now integrated into Partsolutions by Cadenas.
Determining the correct customs tariff numbers is not an easy task for many companies that export to other countries, face a customs audit, or whose products appear on embargo lists. A large and complicated set of rules and regulations, as well as a shortage of qualified personnel, are part of the problem. Due to the complex structure of the numbers, there was hardly any software for this on the market for a long time, which meant a lot of manual effort and high process costs. At the same time, customs pricing should have a high priority in a business, as mistakes in pricing goods can quickly have legal consequences.
Henning Uiterwyk, CEO of netwyk.com, recognized this problem and developed netwyk Zoll, a cloud-based SaaS solution for the individual and bulk determination of customs tariff numbers according to current specifications. This time-saving tool is now integrated with Strategic Parts Management Partssolutions by Cadenas via an interface. With a netwyk Zoll license, Partsolutions users can now determine the correct customs tariff numbers directly from parts management and add them to the item master.
Here’s how it works: Select a standard or purchased part from the parts library or your own parts list and transfer the product label to the customs tariff number determination tool at the press of a button. The correct material group is assigned to the product. After the following configuration of certain attributes such as material and type, the correct customs tariff number is transferred to Partsolutions and added to the master data.
