Ahead of the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), taking place June 14-16 in Hamburg, Germany, TT Electronics announced plans to showcase interface, lighting and signage solutions at the show.
TT Electronics develops custom interfaces and lighting solutions designed to enhance the passenger experience. Passenger control units (PCUs), cabin signage, seat identification, suite information panels, stowage and accent lighting will be featured at the show.
With its expertise in thin-film backlighting, the company will also showcase its latest ambient lighting solutions, designed to be lightweight, homogeneous and energy efficient.
New for 2022 is TT’s stowage lighting solution, which offers adjustable colors and intensity, illuminating cabin stowage areas.
“Airlines are focused on deploying multi-color interior lighting to improve passenger comfort and satisfaction,” said Terry Moss, Sales Manager, TT Electronics. “Design and ambience are key here, especially in the First and Business Class cabins. At AIX, TT will be showcasing solutions that offer the perfect blend of form and function to meet the demands of the designer, manufacturer and , perhaps the most important, of the passenger.
TT will also launch PCUs developed in partnership with Adient Aerospace, an aircraft seat specialist.
TT Electronics said its patented light guide system provides packaging modules less than 10mm deep while maintaining high-quality intensity and even light distribution without problematic hot spots. The lights are available in RGB-W aligned with airline brand guidelines and have functional features such as DND indicators.
The company added that its interface and lighting solutions can be certified to meet all Airbus and Boeing seat requirements.
