Nuvei launches payment interface for merchants

Payment platform Nuvei launched an easy-to-implement payment interface for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that includes enterprise-grade features.

Called Nuvei Simply Connect, the product is an easy-to-implement software development kit (SDK) solution with “very low-code” tools that allow a business to choose fonts, colors, payment, currencies and languages, Nuvei said on Tuesday (October 11) in a Press release.

Once deployed, Nuvei Simply Connect offers enterprise-grade options such as a broad offering of payment methods, fraud and risk management, PCI and 3DS compliance, authorization rate boosters, as well as analyzes and reports, the statement said.

“Accepting payments shouldn’t be complicated,” Nuvei President and CEO Philippe Fayer said in the press release. “At Nuvei, we are committed to helping businesses of all sizes around the world deliver unique customer experiences and accelerate their growth. That’s why we’re excited to launch Simply Connect, bringing enterprise payment technology to everyone.

With Simply Connect, merchants and platforms of all sizes can customize and localize the payment interface, adapting it to their needs, according to the press release.

Because it’s modular, businesses can seamlessly connect to any part of their existing payment stack, the statement said.

Payments was once seen as the last step, but adding more functionality along with a smooth customer experience brings more value to the end user, president of Nuvei Yuval Ziv PYMNTS’ Karen Webster said in an interview published Sept. 7.

“If the merchant has the ability to receive data that is properly analyzed by either the merchant team or the payment provider – or both – then you are really heading towards a streamlined checkout process,” Ziv said.
