Mooer Prime 1 Smart Pedal
The latest addition to Mooer’s GE Labs technology line, the Prime P1, is an ultra-compact audio interface and multi-effects charger, packed full of features. It’s accessible via iPhone or Android devices, for ultimate control, and uses Mooer’s MNRS technology for high-quality digital amp models and effects.
Mooer Premier P1
the Mooer Premier P1 contains 126 guitar effects, 73 bass effectsand 40 drum machine slotsplus one 80 second looper. You also get double-acting bass guitar chains and 10 classic bass guitar amp models, plus the obligatory tuner and metronome. To access all these features, you must use the android Where iOS app, then apply those effects to your guitar or bass, create and share presets, and load up to four patches at once. The unit uses Bluetooth audio playback for practice and jamming, so you can play along to your favorite tracks wirelessly.
Mooer calls it a smart pedal, and while it’s not a pedal itself, you can attach the Mooer F Series Wireless Footswitches via Bluetooth, to control the different sections remotely. As it is a portable unit, you can power the Prime 1 1900mAh lithium battery, which charges via USB. A single charge will give you approximately 4.5 hours use. This USB port also allows the Prime 1 to be used as audio interface to save to your phone, tablet, etc.
The Prime P1 has a jack input and output, and a headphone output. Connectivity is fairly basic, but sufficient to do the job it was created for. The unit is available in Graphite Black, Ivory white and Space grey finishes. Currently, there is no official price listed. And as is often the case with Mooer, the main product page is pretty vague about the product, but lists all the basic specs.
However, you can see the official demo video below. It could be a handy practice tool or more, for the right person. But much will depend on the application, the price and the quality of the effects.
