Screenshots of Xiaomi MIUI 14 were allegedly leaked online ahead of its official launch. The purported screenshots trace options that could make their way to eligible Xiaomi smartphones with the upcoming update. In the alleged screenshots, the all-new user interface can be seen with a redesigned data assistant and clock app. The brand new software is designed to allow users to limit persistent notifications as well. Users are also advised to get the power to add textual content recognition in the gallery. Last year, Xiaomi rolled out an MIUI 12.5 update, but users might not get an update to MIUI 13.5 this year.
Screenshots of the alleged MIUI 14 interface have been shared in a post on MyDrivers, which has yet to be officially unveiled. The screenshots reveal new options that the software update will bring to customers. Xiaomi claims not to roll out a transitional update for the MIUI 13, reminiscent of the MIUI 13.5 model, as per the announcement. Xiaomi has not officially announced any details regarding the next version of its Android-based operating system.
According to screenshots shared online, the MIUI 14 can work with a revamped Data Assistant and Clock app. The user interface of the clock app can be seen with 4 tabs in the foreground for alarm, clock, stopwatch and timer. With the brand new software, users will be able to limit persistent notifications. Xiaomi smartphone users can also use the text content recognition feature for the gallery, which can recognize the text content of a particular image.
Apart from these options, Xiaomi’s new software update can also allow users to add today’s memory feature to an album. It also says to allow customers to uninstall the clock app. The post also claims that support for Qualcomm Bluetooth LE audio will also be added. With MIUI 14, Xiaomi might also upgrade the anti-fraud security feature. According to the report, it is expected to launch with the Xiaomi 13 series, in late November or early December.
In response to a latest report, the MIUI 14 supported smartphone checklist has been leaked online. He revealed that the Xiaomi 13 topped the list, followed by the Xiaomi 12 Professional and the Xiaomi 12 Extreme. The report adds that the MIUI 14 may be based on Android 13 and is expected to launch sometime within the next 12 months. However, as mentioned earlier, Xiaomi has not officially announced any details regarding the next version of its Android-based operating system.
