GigE smart network interface card

Matrox Imaging has launched Matrox GevIQ, an intelligent network interface card (NIC) with generic GigE Vision® acquisition offload at speeds of up to 25 Gbps per port using integrated packet processing. The card is equipped with two 25 GbE ports. Multiple 1, 2.5, 5 or 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) cameras can be aggregated on each port for a total of 32 input sources. Support for a standard SFP28 connector allows users to choose between standard direct-attach copper Ethernet (DAC) or fiber optic cables. Matrox GevIQ cards partner with Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) X software and include both Matrox Gecho, a logging utility that logs events generated by the Matrox GevIQ device driver and saves them to a JSON or CSV file for view them in Google Perfetto, and Matrox Capture Works, a utility that allows users to quickly assess the performance and functionality of virtually any GigE Vision-enabled camera or 3D sensor.
